Dear Families,
All About Me: I was born and raised in downtown New York City, where I’ve spent most of my life. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Film from the University of Texas at Austin, I returned to NYC to design and construct costumes, masks, props, and scenery for the theater, fashion, and film industries. Following a change of heart and a fully realized passion for children and education, I decided to pursue a new path. I went back to school and received a Masters of Science in Education from Fordham University and completed an extension in Gifted Education at Hunter College. Now in Chelsea, I feel fortunate to be working in a community that played such a formative role in influencing my values, creativity, and expectations for education. I hope to incorporate my students' personal interests and talents - as well as my own - into the curriculum whenever possible.

My dog, Presley
Longhorn Football, even when they don't win
Cooking and eating with friends and family
Remembering old students and creating memories with new students
Traveling
Mask making and painting
Knowing that I accomplished a goal and that I did my "personal best!"
